If you are after a cheap reliable car that is mechanically perfect then here it is! For sale is our 2006 Kia Picanto 1.1 petrol 5 door which averages 55 mpg, is cheap to insure and tax :) Local delivery considered if it helps. Fixed price bargain £650. Our Picanto is mechanically perfect! No issues at all. Its MOT’d til late August and has not failed a test since 2018! It has a chain driven engine so no scary cam belt to worry about and has been serviced on time all the time. In the last couple of years it has had new tyres, new clutch, new suspension bits, new exhaust, sill work to future proof it and new battery (together these cost more than we are asking for the car!). It has no knocks, issues, warning lights etc. Last years couple of advisories were immediately taken care off. It will fly thru its next MOT, it’s only done 2000 miles since its last MOT! It will average 55 mpg and 65+ mpg on a run. Road Tax is £13 a month. Insurance is very cheap. Condition wise it certainly is not a brand new show car, it has some patchy paint and age related imperfections as expected but as you can see from the photos nothing that stops it from its daily use etc. It has a Kenwood Stereo System, Electric Windows, Electric Heated Rear Screen, Air Conditioning, Central Locking, 3x Cup Holders, Power Steering, Air Bags etc It comes with 2 keys, tons of paperwork, receipts and MOTS, spare wheel and tyre. September 2011 on a '61' Plate HONDA CR-V 2.2I-DTEC EXECUTIVE AWD 4X4 6 Speed 5 Door SUV with the Active CRUISE Control & Xenon Headlights. Same Owner since we sold it back in May 2022 !! 165k with 2 Remote keys. This still starts, runs and drives. However the EML came on and is related to the Turbo, which we would suggest needs a re build (We normally use Midland Turbo at Nottingham) and there is a leak from the steering rack. It will probably want track rod ends and no doubt a drop link or 2 and the Air Conditioning does not blow cold (We have not investigated why). The car has been used daily until the MOT Expiring. The Customer has decided they do not wish to spend on the repairs (as they can not do it themselves) and has purchased a Mk4 CR-V from us. The interior needs a clean, the exterior is still very straight and shiny with just the small scuff to one bumper. All the leather is intact as are the door cards and armrests which are common for wearing through (We had them replaced in 2022) So it's up for Sale as a Spares or Repairs vehicle only to someone that has the skills and know how to replace / fix the steering rack and whip the turbo off, send it to midland turbo for a rebuild and put it back on etc. Or have a mate that will do it very cheaply for you. If you have to pay normal garage rates you may as well buy a retail one (Although obviously you may have to replace the rack/steering pipes and turbo at some point on any CRV) so buying this one and knowing you've fixed it already may be worthwhile ...but I digress.
