# Price reduced to save my having to pay ongoing road tax. Needs to be bank transfer or go to the bank with me if must be cash - so bank transfer online once decided to buy - while we are at the car is best. 241bhp (factory standard),HPI clear, full BMW specialist garage (not main dealer) service history, great motor but chain failed recently. Needs a new chain and would be a great project for someone (competent mechanic) to get it back on the road (no sign of any damage, no noise when it failed, car just lost power but head not removed yet). Quite good condition for age, as can be seen in the photos (some signs of age, as you would expect). Owned since 2 years old but don't have the time to do the chain myself, so selling to a good home. 2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself.
