Have had this motor sat for a couple of years, but have now got a new car and do not want this sat around any longer. It’s currently SORN and parked up, wants a good clean also. The issues I know of - the car runs, but has sticking injectors. Some new fuel running through will solve this issue. The handbrake was left on for a few months and got locked so the rear brakes will require looking at. The interior requires some attention though complete, wants a full valet. Includes 3 keys, one fully working and two in need of a refurb. Lots of paperwork included, carpet set (brand new) and some track rods/ball joints it will probably need before going through an MOT. It won’t need much to get it through, some fresh fuel and a bit of love. Really good condition overall, wants a bit of love and attention (more than I can give it at the moment) and she’ll be good to go. Has had lots of work done in the past please check car vertical or the MOT website. Have got the V5 and all paperwork required to register in your name. Grab a bargain!! I will start with the good points: There is about 1200 gbp of new parts installed in the car over the last year. - New Break discs and Pads in the front. - New Break calipers in the back. - New wirring loom. - Coil springs replaced in the front. - Suspension arms have been done. - New windshield has been replaced. - New Bosh vipers - New white bulbs installed, - Additionally, i restored the headlights. - Ice Cold AC - Heater works good in winter. - There has been an oil leak, and a fuel leak from broken hoses, this is fixed now. - Leather interior, from another Vag, with door cards. - Will come with a TDI 8L Sports Dash. - Car has been serviced religiously. - New strong battery installed. - Clutch has been replaced. - 6 months mot. - V5 pressent in my name. Cant even remember all the other bits and pieces changed. Everything was done when needed and preventitive maintenance applied. Drives well, no knocks or bangs from the suspension or engine. Starts in half a key turn, every time. Not much service history, everything was done by me or local garages. Car is a cat N, due to some damage to the side fender, insurance wrote it off. The vehicle is fixed and in good working order. Known faults - headliner, is sagging. - Rear window wash hose is blocked, needs investigating. New hose is provided with the car. - One key. - Key needs to be coded to the car for central locking. As vacum pump had been changed and car unlocks on the door. - Dials are a bit wonky, lcd screen as well, hence will come with a rare sports dash, worth 150 alone. - Body work is not the best, couple of rust patches on the doors, i put rust preventer to isolate it. - The body has scrapes and scratches, can see in photos. - Due a service, will provide you with filters (fuel, air, cabin) just need oil and your oil filter. - A new Hazzard button will be provided as well. Car is perfect as a daily or to be modified for a project. As the engine and geabox is strong. Tried to be as inclusive as possible as possible, come, test drive and make me an offer, can negotiate a discount at the car.

MOT expired. Many repairs needed before presenting for MOT. Known issues are: Faulty oxygen sensor causing engine fault light to be on. Crankcase breather pipe split. Wishbone bushes worn and pulling out of bush sleeves. Track rod ends and gaitors need replacing. Corroded central exhaust mount. Passenger side window switch missing. Front and rear valances show signs of crazing but are structurally ok. Needs 4 new tyres. We have had previous welding repairs made to both sills to pass previous MOTs. Car was running fine before expiry of MOT 14 June 2025. Car is very presentable inside and out. This is a 19 year old car that requires work to get back on the road. AK06TKV has a displayed mileage of 144,000 miles but actual milage is 70 to 80 K. Previous owner had to have the immobilisor replaced with a used item that came with different displayed mileage on the dash. The interior is in very good condition throughout. Worth buying to obtain interior alone! Hood intact but has had repairs internally around the rear glass panel. Hood is watertight. This is my honest assessment of a much loved car which we have had since 2020 (a Bangers and Cash purchase from Matthewsons in Yorks). Various receipts and paperwork to go with car.
