Peugeot 107 - 1.0 12V Urban 2 Tronic Euro 4 3dr - engine on 57k, many new parts!
My son has brought me a little 107 for local run abouts and to be fair its a tad small! Hence selling. It's a very nice little auto ulez car. It has MOT and runs and drives quite nice and have had most of the work done for a fresh test. Work done includes: - new engine at under 60k miles (about 300 quid parts plus labour) - new brakes and cylinders all round (fitted and bled) - new tyres all round (about 200 quid) - Fresh service and filters (about 60 quid) The suspension is tight, ac works (fairly ice cold) and power steering/electrics are all good. It's the Toyota engine which is quite bulletproof as the replacement engine runs sweet with no misfires etc. The auto gearbox I had my mechanic friend to check and is I'm fully working order as it changes gears fine in both manual and auto. I was intending to take it for local shoppings and has had a few motorway runs but fancied something bigger to be fair. The bad bits from what I can see are that the bodywork needs some tlc but it's quite good for age as you can see from the pictures! There is also some extra bits that come with the car as spares which I am happy to sell with the car for the right buyer as shown in the photos. Its 20 quid a year to tax and very cheap to run, it could probably go to a good new home. I don't know much about these cars so just thought to sell and get something bigger. Private sale of my Diesel Auto C4 Coupe owned for the past 9+ years. It now has over 208,000 miles on the clock but has never broken down on me and has really only needed routine maintenance over the years I've owned. Lots of old bills and service receipts for work carried out by private mechanic. The Pro's: CHEAP MOTORING!!! Reliable and cheap to run car that will probably just keep going with regular service and maintenance. Still 6months to run on MOT, and I don't know any reason it won't pass again. I have been using every day doing approx. 400 miles per week. 35 per year Road Tax and 50mpg in every day driving - but can get closer to 70mpg dependent on your driving style. Never had any major Engine, Gearbox or ECU type problems. Just requires regular maintenance and consumables to keep going. Some nice VTR+ trim touches still work like the Flappy paddle gear selectors, chrome dimming rear view mirror, speed compensated radio volume and RDS display. The steering wheel controls all work for accessing menu's, cruise control and Gearbox Sport mode still works. It's relatively small for a 1.6 diesel so can be quite nippy when you want it to be. The Cons; It is an old car now with over 200,000 on the clock. There are various dents and scratches, Keymarks and the odd bit of Duct Tape on plastics. The Air-Con doesn't work but all the regular fans and temperature controls do work. The EGR Valve has been stuck 'open' for years but this has never stopped it passing an MOT emissions Test. The electric windows can occasionally stick, but have never stopped working altogether. There is only one working remote Key. For those unaware, 'Citroen built these 'Automatics' with what is essentially a manual gearbox with a Robotised selector. You drive this car as you would any other Automatic, but please do not expect this to feel like a modern DSG or DCT box. It has its own unique 'charachter'. It'll come with the Citroen Wallet, Original Manuals and loads of service and maintenance receipts from over the years. Log book is in my name and address. Happy to consider sensible offers. Sold as Seen.
