Heres my MK5 Golf GT TDI PD140 BKD up for swaps still not 100% as love driving it but its a little bit low for the family and speed bumps around here so seeing what I get offered would like something similar to the MK5 so MK2 Leon FR TDI or MK2 Octavia vRS TDI along those lines. MOT Jan 2026 143K on clocks. Recent turbo as pictured.. does have a bit of a boost leak or gasket leak you can hear and needs a new vac box or the N75 Mod doing as takes some time to get into boost in 1st and 2nd once in 3rd onwards boosts tidy and goes very well. Lowered on stance+ coilovers needs top mounts on front and rubs over big bumps on rear neither have never bothered me. Stage 1 remap. Cat back twin exhaust. Bumper not the best but does the job have got a spare valance here which I will throw in. USDM coded and headlights recently restored. GT front end and GT leather steering wheel Bodywork quite tidy for age few marks etc as expected with age. Unsure of what wheels are on it I believe they might be DARE alloys from a quick image search. 4x Toyo Proxies TR1 Tyres. Recent service. Cambelt & waterpump & aux belt done at 117k 2023. 2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself.
