Mercedes SLK 230 PETROL IN SPORTS RED & AMG ALLOY WHEELS 245 ON REAR @ 225 ON THE FRONTS I bought this car in 2020 and always intended on keeping it. Only reason for sale is I have inherited a Mercedes CLK 320 PETROL 2003. This car does drive superb and a lot of fun to drive. You will see from the photos I have spent a hell of a lot of money on it and I have only done 3000 miles in it in my ownership over last 5 years. Had 4 new tyres, new brake pipes, new ball joint, tie rod end LH/RH, Lamba sensor. Just had new battery fitted in last few weeks only to find out it wasn't the battery that was the problem. Had to have the dreaded K40 fuse board replaced ( see photo of receipt) Had new relay fitted in April for electric seats as they had packed in moving correctly. Just had flex discs replaced and prop balanced. New flex discs to centre and rear from Mercedes. Original merc radio packed in a few weeks ago and bought a new blue tooth stereo with hands free built in. All this money spent on it this year alone is because I was always keeping it and although high Milage it does run like a dream. The bad bits are the following. Lacquer peel in various places (see pics) drivers side front wing rusty and requires repair or replacement. This was going to be my last job to get all the body work done if I got all the mechanical stuff done, which it is now. I was going to get the front wing filled and repaired to sell but have decided to leave it for new owner to sort either way repair or replacement. Drivers seat torn on bolster see pics. Boot latch/handle works fine but sticks so you have to move back in position each time. To be honest it's just the body work that lets it down and it does drive nice and tight and very quick. Electric roof works perfectly and it has never leaked in my ownership. It comes with all Mercedes books, service record book as per pics. Lots of old MOT's . 2 working keys, full log book in my name. Locking wheel nuts were removed when I first bought it and replaced with correct ordinary studs. This car is a great fun summer car and drives excellent. I must admit a lot more fun than a CLK but need the room and yes you guys know it, wife won't let me have both. Owes me a lot of money that I will never get back but next owner will have a fantastic fun car with all mechanical issues done.

Car has no MOT and the instrument panel/display is intermittent. Good runner id good condition for year and has only covered around 56-57000 mls. Car failed MOT on rear subframe assembly (see image of MOT cert) and needs a welding repair plus some advisories. Cost for all repairs is estimated at between 300-400 pounds. Car value when done is approx. 1400-1500 pounds so, we've left good value in the car once done! Display is mostly not working but we have an image from 2 years ago showing the then mileage. The car is only driven by my wife to go to work 4 days a week and does 15 mls/day. It has new tyres and is fairly clean. We've maintained the car having any work needed done there and then including a new starter last year but to be fair, it's about the only issue we've had other than a couple of tyres. She runs well and everything works as it should. We're not fixing it because, I have a company car coming and just don't need this anymore so, we're letting the insurance lapse and have SORN the car. Current value if MOT'd would be between 14-1500 quid so, we looked at other cars with similar probs and priced this accordingly and fairly. Any inspection welcome but I'm not gonna listen to stupid offers and or accommodate tyre kickers! It is what it is, a good 21 yr old car with a repair required to bring it back to road legal. A new Bentley it is NOT!!

We were in France for a couple of years and had started the process to export the car there but it was never done. Having brought it back to the UK it now has to have a V55/5 form to remove the export marker. There is no charge for this. The car does need an MOT but is in decent condition but it needs the MOT to request the V55/5 form. The car is a good runner with good engine and gearbox and starts first time every time. It has new brakes all round and new battery and also new starter motor about 18 months ago. I know of no faults that would cause it to fail an MOT. Last MOT in 2022 in the UK was fine with nothing required and Control Technique (MOT equivalent in France in 2023 was also clear. The price reflects the condition of the car without an MOT.

ULEZ!! I can't stress how important this is, the main reason I bought this car in the first place. Added to this the space is awesome. I've been using this car more or less as a van, I'm a painter/decorator. When I bought the car it was already "on the register" & recently someone decided to overtake me in a traffic jam, damaging the front bumper so it was written off again. I didn't replace the bumper, got it MOT'd & carried on. Obviously the images show that the bodywork is in desperate need of some tlc but the interior, despite being over 20 years old is pretty good. The mileage is incredibly low for its age & backed up with service history & the old MOT's. I even still have the receipt from the last owner who paid over 10 times this price I've included an image of the reg numbers valuation & will include this with the car. I believe that the price I've advertised represents exceptional value for a low mileage, economical (30 round town 40 on a run) ULEZ compliant car. I have to sell as I'm now private hire driving & can't use a car of this age as a taxi. Please call for any further information but do NOT call if you're planning to make a crazy offer.
